Canada Day picnic at Gyro offers free family fun

The Kiwanis & Rotary Clubs of Trail, Trail Parks and Recreation, and the City of Trail are hosting the event and want to remind everyone about the activities happening at Gyro Park.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with free games, face painting, and balloon creations for kids. The 2024 Trail Ambassadors will be in attendance, engaging in activities with the community.

City of Trail postpones 2023 RDKB tax recovery

The City of Trail’s 2023 RDKB tax recovery plan hit a setback when the Ministry of Municipal Affairs did not approve it. Consequently, the City is now in the position of having to process the tax recovery in 2025.

Rossland Avenue residents: notice of no parking for street sweeping

This notice is to inform residents of Rossland Avenue that crews will be completing required street sweeping on Tuesday, May 28th (even addresses/Columbo side) and Wednesday, May 29th (odd addresses/chain-up side).  Traffic control will be on site starting at approximately 6 AM.

As a result of this work there will be no parking in the active sweeping area (see map).  We ask for your cooperation to find alternate parking prior to the crew arrival at 6 AM.
