The City of Trail’s Public Works crew has started its annual street sweeping and flushing. The sweeper truck will start in the neighbourhoods that have received the earliest snowmelt and will eventually make its way through each neighbourhood.
It takes approximately 3 weeks for the truck to cover the City’s entire 76-kilometre (152 lane-kilometre) road network. To better facilitate the operation, where possible, avoid parking on the roadway.

This morning, City of Trail staff discovered a sanitary storm main collapse on Daniel St. between Munter St. and Bay Ave. As a result, Daniel St. will be closed starting at 7:00 a.m. on March 6 for the repair. The repair is expected to be complete within 48 hours.

This morning, City of Trail staff discovered water bubbling from the road in front of 3547 Highway Drive. As a result, Highway Dr. between Lily St. and Cottonwood Dr. has been closed to complete repairs.
During the repair activities, there will be a detour route set up and local traffic only on the most affected section of Highway Dr.
